Raoul studied Business Management at Ateneo de Manila and thus started his advertising career in account management. After a year, he shifted to copywriting at JWT and never looked back, becoming CD there and at Publicis JimenezBasic. He was also ECD at BBDO Guerrero Ortega. Currently, he is the Chief Creative Officer of Leo Burnett Group Manila. He has won recognition at Cannes, One Show, D&AD, Adfest, Spikes Asia, AMES, New York Festivals, London International and Clio. Raoul has served as President of the Creative Guild of the Philippines, Chairman of the Philippine Advertising Congress Araw Awards and the Philippine Ad Summit Creative Committee. He has been a juror of LIA, AdStars Busan, Spikes, Clio, New York Festivals and Cannes Lions. When he’s not pounding the keyboard, he pounds the pavement on long runs.
